Best chippy I’ve had
Referral from a friend claiming it to be ‘the best chippy I’ve had’, he wasn’t wrong. Ordered the fish with a scallop tea cake, and got a few chips and tub of gravy in there for free! All clean tasting and seriously above par, also doesn’t leave you with a sickly feeling that most fish and chip shops do so I second it as the best chippy I’ve had. The guy who served me was brilliant, can tell he’s invested in the shop with the way he spoke to the customer, and about the food. Will be returning!

Excellent tasting fish and chips from a very clean and professional establishment. Great choice on the menu and discount is also available for nhs staff. The branding is great and I can tell the owners take the business very seriously. From those who don’t know the legendary Stan works here!

Fresh fish, great batter and golden chips. The flavour is excellent and even the peas and gravy are freshly made. There seems to be a trend atm of chips being a bit anemic and not crispy but these are not that

I’m very particular about my fish and chips but it’s safe to say I’ve found my new favourite place, amazing taste and value, freshly cooked by the friendly and welcoming staff who also provide free entertainment whilst you wait, what’s not to like? Definitely will be visiting again soom with the family

Fancied a traditional fish n chips in Leeds centre and saw this place. Best decision I made. Absolutely fantastic fish n chips felt like I was at the seaside ! Will be coming back for more, best fish n chips up North!

Fresh, Amazing and the best fish and chips you’ll get anywhere! The seafood is FRESH and delicious!
A must do if you’re local or passing through! All prepared freshly in vegetable oil.
Just wanted to say thank you to the SALTD & Battered team to make it such a wonderful experience in these difficult times.

Wow! Definitely the best fish and chips in leeds. Glad to have this place open near me in Hyde Park/ Headingly and will be only going here from now on.
Clean chips. They look perfect and taste perfect. The fish was very big, incredible value for money for a large at £7.95 with chips.
Friendly, helpful and passionate team of people running this place.
